The campaign to protect Larimer County's water, forests, and roads.
Wildfire risk, growth, and aging infrastructure are outrunning the county's revenue. In 2026 alone, Larimer absorbed roughly $24 million in rising costs and budget cuts — even as federal and state funding pulls back. Larimer County has asked voters for this kind of funding before and come up short. Measure 1A is a dedicated, accountable way to close that gap before it costs us more.
A dedicated county sales and use tax — exempting groceries, gas, diapers, and prescription drugs — raising up to $34.5 million a year, independently audited every year.
This is about protecting the place we love — the water we drink, the forests around us, and the roads we drive every day.
Ready Larimer is a coalition of neighbors, first responders, and local leaders working to protect our water, forests, and roads. Whether it's a few hours volunteering or a contribution to the campaign, every bit moves us closer to a win.
